Streets to Stability
On this page you will find events we are holding specifically for organisations working with people who are street homeless, as part of the ‘Food on the Streets’ project funded by Bristol City Council. Further training sessions will be added as we finalise the dates so do keep checking back.

10/9/26 Introduction to De-escalation Skills for Responding to Conflict
Time: 17:00 – 18:30
This session is an introduction to what you can do to improve your chances of de-escalating a situation where one or more parties is distressed and behaving agressively – or presenting in a way that makes you feel this may be a possibility.
This workshop is specifically for people working or volunteering in organisations supporting people who are street homeless. The session will be targeted at people who are newer to conflict resolution, but you are welcome to come along if you have experience but would like a refresher/to hear other perspectives.
15/9/26 Reflective Practice Session 6
Time: 18:00 – 19:30
Reflective practice offers a safe space in which to step back a little and share reflections about the experiences and impact of work related issues. It can benefit individuals and teams through skill development, improving staff wellbeing and building stronger relationships. It can help protect people from vicarious trauma.
22/9/26 Streets to Stability Network Meeting 7
Time: 16:00 – 18:00
