Communities of Practice

The Communities of Practice Network (CoP) is a dynamic network led by Voscur, uniting senior leaders in the VCSE sector who work in defined areas of practice.

By providing a structured platform for collaboration, this network allows members to influence and shape policy, particularly in areas such as commissioning structures. We work together to ensure the VCSE sector’s voice is heard and that services provided to Bristol’s communities are responsive, sustainable, and effective.

What it is

This network is dedicated to addressing policy changes and commissioning structures that impact the VCSE sector.

By bringing together experienced professionals in various fields, the Communities of Practice Network creates opportunities for shared learning, policy influence, and joint problem-solving. Network members are working to ensure that the VCSE sector’s perspective is always considered when policies that affect our work and service users are being shaped.

Who is it for?

The Communities of Practice Network is open to individuals within Bristol’s VCSE sector who work within specific areas of service delivery.

Your organisation may support a particular group of people whose circumstances are similar due to their current life situation, for example (but not limited to) asylum seekers, being homeless, people struggling with mental ill health, people experiencing addiction, people struggling with mobility, and many more situations.
