Communities for Equalities
The Communities for Equalities Network (C4E), is a collaborative initiative between Voscur and Stand Against Racism and Inequality (SARI), created to strengthen and amplify the voice of equalities organisations across Bristol’s VCSE sector.
This strategic network is informed by the 2021 “Designing a New Social Reality” report from Black South West Network, prioritising equality in all community initiatives and ensuring that equalities organisations are represented in local decision-making processes.

What it is
Communities for Equalities serves as a network for organisations focused on equalities issues.
Members work collaboratively to influence policy and address challenges that affect Bristol’s diverse communities. Through this network, we work to place equalities at the centre of city-wide initiatives, steering the focus of work happening across the city.

Who is it for?
This network is for organisations and groups within Bristol’s VCSE sector that support equalities communities and are themselves equalities-led.
If your organisation champions equality and works to eliminate disparities within the city, joining the Communities for Equalities Network will connect you with others committed to this mission, providing a collective voice to address common issues and advocate for systemic change.
