Small grants for positive impacts

Charities, social enterprises and community groups can apply for grants of up to £8,000 to deliver projects that make a positive difference to people’s lives.

The funding is provided by the Focus Foundation — the charitable arm of Focus Group, a provider of essential business technology.

The funding supports:

  • socially or economically underprivileged children or young people
  • mental health charities and initiatives

To be eligible, organisations must have an annual income of less than £1 million, along with core running costs of less than 35%.

Projects should demonstrate clear and measurable benefits to their communities.

Applications are accepted year-round, but will close for assessment four weeks prior to the next committee meeting, scheduled for the 2nd March 2026.

There is also a small grants programme offering grants of up to £1,000. The application process is invite-only, and interested parties can contact the foundation for support and guidance.
