This is a basic policy for a new organisation, but you may not need all of it, for example if you don’t currently employ anyone. As you expand, check this policy regularly to make sure it still covers everything you do and reflects the latest ways of doing things – for example, the policy mentions cheques and cash but depending on what monies you receive, and from who, you may not need or want to deal with either of these.
