Social Value Pioneers
At Voscur we are working with corporate partners from ARUP, Atkins Realis, Burges Salmon and YTL to improve how social value is delivered – to create more impactful outcomes for local communities, whilst also providing better value for corporate partners.
Our focus
We want to leverage a small number of corporate partners’ expertise to collaboratively establish a Social Value Partnerships framework to not only support sustainability and growth of Bristol’s vital Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector but also engage and positively impact Bristol’s business community.
Working closely with a small number of corporate partners, VCSE stakeholders, statutory bodies and commissioners,
the key aims are to create an accessible ‘social value’ ecosystem across the city and region by:
- Enhancing the social value processes for procurement to stop disadvantaging VCSE organisations.
- Developing the process for businesses to engage with the VCSE sector as social value beneficiaries as part of procurement tenders.
- Develop and test a mutually beneficial Social Value Partnership model for VCSE organisations and the business community to work effectively in collaboration to drive lasting positive social change and address the systemic barriers VCSE organisations face to access business support and engagement in Bristol.
Want to get involved?
Our pilot is currently underway with the first group of ‘Social Value Pioneers’, but new corporate partners are always welcome to join us at any point on this journey.
To get involved us at info@voscur.org with the subject title ‘Social Value Pioneers’ and we will arrange a meeting to discuss this further with you.
