Many of you may now know that after an amazing 30 years, Bristol Community Dance Centre Ltd have handed back the keys to the Jacobs Wells Baths building.   

The Bristol Impact Fund (part of Bristol City Council’s VCS Grants Prospectus) will be launched on 1st September 2016. This briefing will include a presentation about the grant application processes and information about registering on ProContract (the council’s online system, which will manage the Medium and Large grant applications).

This briefing offers an opportunity for the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector in Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset and South Gloucestershire to meet together, to share views and concerns, and to debate and discuss the consultation launched by the Secretary of State and the three councils for the creation of a new Mayoral Combined Authority.

What Is 'EMPOWERED'? 

EMPOWERED is an exciting awards event, celebrating the achievement of young people from Bristol's diverse and underserved inner city communities. The event also aims to provide a platform to showcase young peoples' talent and inform them about local support services.

From 1st - 12th June 2016, the country will be celebrating amazing volunteers who give time and energy to support charities, communities, and projects up and down the land. Here in Bristol, there are so many projects whose work is made possible by the help of volunteers #BrisVol16
