Many of you may now know that after an amazing 30 years, Bristol Community Dance Centre Ltd have handed back the keys to the Jacobs Wells Baths building.

Not wishing for the building to be vacant,  Bristol City Council who own the building, have signed a 6 month licence to occupy with ArtspaceLifespace Charitable Company (ASLS).  This gives time for BCC to carefully consider the long term future of the building.
ArtspaceLifespace will be permitted to use the building for dance, music, fitness, arts and community activities (including hiring out space to other groups).  S

Central Clifton and Harbourside Neighbourhood Partnership have made funding available to employ Vivid to carry out a first stage “Dancentric” feasibility study to inform the long term future of the building.

As part of the feasibility work we are holding a Drop In at Jacob Wells Baths on 12th November between 1 and 4 with a particular focus on DANCE and other PERFORMING ARTS.  This is an opportunity for you to come and give your views and share your ideas with others.  We will be holding a further drop in with a focus on Architecture and Heritage and this will take place on the 3rd December.  We have already held a successful Drop In for the local community.
