A time to come together to honour & remember our loved ones.


For Friends & Families

You are invited to join us for our annual memorial event to mark the lives of those lost to drugs and alcohol.

A Celebration of Life is an afternoon led by friends and family members, featuring performances by local choirs.

During the event there will be a memorial book for the names of loved ones to be recorded and read out.

The Sense Buddying programme is aimed towards adults who have a learning disability and are looking to move towards an independent life and to access their local community.

In return for signing up, we will work with individuals to identify the right buddy that could support them to do a specific task or activity for 2 hours a week. This could be as simple as gaining confidence to use a particular bus route or building relationships at a social group.

Action for Children are raising awareness of the need for more foster carers & adopters from ethnic minorities to come forward and support children in care.

Have you ever thought about Adoption or Fostering and want to find out more? Join us for an introduction to both services. Chat to our professional & experienced team and hear from our foster carers and adopters about their experiences. We’ll answer any questions you have and tell you all about the support we provide to ensure that together we get the best outcomes for children & young people.

Karin Smyth, MP for Bristol South, is organising a free event to give people the chance to sit down over a cup of tea or coffee and talk with some of Bristol’s financial experts about their entitlements. There will also be people to advise on how to make homes more energy efficient, to keep fuel bills manageable as the winter sets in.

Come along to our Post-Retirement Opportunities event to discover more about the opportunities and advice available to you, explore and share ideas, hear from those with lived experience of retirement, and meet and socialise with people at a similar stage in life.

The FREE Event will offer people aged 55+living with and beyond cancer, and their carers, the opportunity to try a variety of fun activities and engage with local services that are available across Central and East Bristol.

The Day will include, African Drumming, Line Dancing, Gentle Exercise, and a Sound Bath Workshop. We will also be offering a range of stalls for people to connect with relevant Bristol based services', Wellbeing activities, goodie bags and discounted tickets to the Aquarium to enjoy on the day.
