Bristol City Council has a duty under the Children and Families Act 2014 to provide impartial, confidential and accessible information, advice and support to children and young people with special educational needs and/or a disability (SEND), and their parents or carers, regarding their education, and any health or social care needs related to their education. This support is currently delivered through Supportive Parents, Bristol’s SEND Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIAS service).

CYN are running Young carers' sessions city wide to provide a safe and relaxing splace for young carers to come and socialise with their peers, meet other young carers, get advise and guildance, make new friends and simply and have some fun and relaxing time away from their caring responsibilties. The sessions run 6 - 8pm and will run various activities such as; sports, cooking, arts and crafts and much more. 

East central young carers - Every Wednesday 6 - 8pm @ Felix road adventure playground. 

South young carers - Every Wednesday 6 - 8pm @ Connaught academy.
