UK registered charities, Community Land Trusts and housing co-operatives can now apply for grants of between £25,000 and £60,000 to support their work in tackling housing issues affecting vulnerable people.

Bristol volunteer-led funder Redistro will be accepting applications from 27th March. Local, grassroots groups are invited to apply for a grant of up to £1,000. The deadline for applications is Monday 1st May.

Schools and not for profit organisations have the opportunity to apply for funding through the Wooden Spoon Society's Capital Grants programme. Wooden Spoon is the British and Irish Rugby charity which supports projects help mentally, physically disadvantaged children. Each year the charity supports around 70 projects.

The McCarthy Stone Foundation, a charitable organisation focused on improving the quality of life for older people in the UK, has announced that applications for Dementia Action Week 2023 will open on May 1st, 2023. Grants will be available to support intergenerational activities that bring a sense of purpose and energy to older people and those living with dementia while helping reduce loneliness and depression.

Grants of up to £15,000 are available for small registered charities that are working on projects to support offenders and ex-offenders, with a focus on those under the age of 30, as well as disadvantaged young people. The Worshipful Company of Weavers is providing the funding, and eligibility for funding requires that local organisations, such as those operating in villages, estates or small towns, have an income of less than £100,000. For organisations operating in larger cities or across the UK, the income should normally not exceed £250,000.

The Coronation Fund has been created to fund events and activities that enable older people to celebrate the historic event of the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort.

This small grants programme offers grants of up to £500 to support organisations and venues in arranging and holding these events.

The Energy Affordability Fund works with organisations that support people struggling to pay their heating bills and living in a cold home. Applications are open, and they close on 27 March 2023.

UK Youth and Pears Foundation have launched a Cost of Living unrestricted grant programme to support youth organisations delivering high quality youth provision whose work is being hindered, curtailed or cut back due to rising core costs or a need to address unprecedented demand. It's open to organisations with a turnover of less than £500,000 and grants will approximate to 10% of turnover.
