The Fat Beehive Foundation is an independent UK registered charity that provides small grants for websites and digital products to other small UK registered charities.

Their aim is to help these organisations carry out their work in a more efficient and effective way, resulting in positive social benefit. They provide highly specialised grants up to £2500, to organisations with an income of less than £1m per annum.

The Asda Foundation has launched a new grants programme to help small grassroots organisations improve local community spaces and places across the UK. The Investing in Spaces and Places Grant will provide funding of between £5,000 and £25,000 to help with building repairs, building improvement/development, and/or outdoor improvement/development for properties which the community organisations either own or lease. Costs could include materials, tradespeople, and equipment purchases/rental. Funding will be awarded on a regional basis, with 50% match funding required.

Community organisations can apply for funding of up to £10,000 if they have initiatives that encourage or support vaccination (not exclusively the COVID-19 vaccination) and might also:

help promote health and wellbeing, increase vaccination awareness, acceptance and uptake

or address a particular community need around reducing health inequalities.

 

All community groups are encouraged to apply, no matter how small or large their project is.

They give grants to support the struggles, fights, campaigns and projects of groups and communities facing discrimination (due to their class, ability, gender, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexuality, age, immigration status or other factors) and who are working towards justice and equality.

The Ofgem Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme will be awarding to support initiatives that work towards a just transition and reduce the impact of the climate emergency associated with energy use.

The priorities of the Scheme are to support energy consumers in vulnerable situations, develop innovative products or services and empower consumers to reduce their carbon emissions.

Charities, community and voluntary groups, CICs, CIOs, and social enterprises across the UK that have been significantly affected by the coronavirus pandemic can apply for funding of up to £1,000 to support local communities during the winter months. The Arnold Clark Community Fund will accept applications from organisations working to support food banks, toy banks, poverty relief, and housing and accommodation. Only one application will be accepted per organisation and applicants will be randomly selected at the end of each month to receive funding.

Grants of up to £15,000 plus business support are available to social entrepreneurs that are looking to start or grow an existing social venture. The funding is being made available through the UnLtd the leading provider of support to social entrepreneurs in and around the UK. UnLtd are committed to providing 50% of their awards to Black, Asian and minority ethnic social entrepreneurs, and/or disabled social entrepreneurs. To be eligible applicants need to be aged 16 or over, living in the UK and are looking to fulfil a clear social need and demand.

What is the fund?

The Women’s Sector Resilience Fund Phase 2, is a £2.1m fund to support local networks of organi­sations working with and for women to make change to systems that cause women’s poverty in their area. It is a place-based approach to systems change that is open to networks in and around several areas including Bristol.
