We are a postnatal depression support charity, run by women who have experienced and recovered from postnatal depression. We offer support calls, a helpline, mum and baby groups, student counsellors. We also offer online support and have our own facebook group. We aim to reassure mums that they are not alone in suffering from PND, and that they will recover.
Movema connects people and communities, helping nurture a safer and more understanding and tolerant world. Using dance and arts we give value and support to people who are often overlooked or marginalised in society.
Initially established in Liverpool 2009, and then expanding to Bristol in 2013, Movema has used dance to strengthen many communities, providing people with meaningful connections and life changing experiences.
MS Research is a charity dedicated to funding high quality research into and seek better ways of treating MS, through research, treatment and education for those living with MS their carers and healthcare professionals alike.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is the most common cause of disability in young people. Once diagnosed it will affect the rest of a persons life. The charity MS Research is “Looking forward to seeing the back of MS!”
We are a well established forest school running outdoor sessions throughout Bristol and Newport.
We are a community based music therapy project providing individual and group music therapy sessions at our Bristol centre and within other community settings.
Music therapy sessions offer a shared time for exploring music and sounds with the music therapist. This shared experience of playing and listening to music can be both positive and creative, particularly when communication and self-expression are difficult for some reason.
