The Care Forum promotes health and wellbeing, challenges inequalities and enables organisations and individuals to make choices in health and social care. We support the not-for-profit health and social care sector and provide a wide range of services to communities (Healthwatch, research) and individuals (Well Aware, advocacy, social prescribing, volunteering).
It’s not always easy to recognise the impact of looking after a partner, family member or friend. The Carers’ Centre is a local charity and friendly community, that helps unpaid carers (from 5 years old) across the Bath and North East Somerset area.
The Carers’ Centre offer a range of services to help unpaid carers focus on their own health and wellbeing, connect with others in a similar situation and navigate the challenges of caring.
The aims of the not-for-profit, community based C.H.E.E.S.E. Project are:
1. to assist people in fuel poverty to have warmer, healthier homes.
2. to reduce domestic energy-use to mitigate climate change.

The Community Farm is a community-owned social enterprise, growing and selling organic food through a box delivery service.
Our aim is to help people develop a better understanding of where their food comes from, reconnect with the land on which their food is grown, and learn more about sustainable farming.
Create is a vibrant environment centre which hosts a range of events and exhibitions and features a purpose-built Ecohome. The Harbour provides free and professional counselling and psychotherapy to people affected by a physical life-threatening illness. People using our service are either living with a life threatening illness or are carers or close family or friends to someone with a life-threatening illness or have been bereaved in the last 2 years through a life-threatening illness. Our service is available to individuals and couples from Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas.
Provide support for families and especially children who have lost a sibling.
land based recovery project for adults
We provide support, advice and information to people with learning disabilities, their families and carers in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We run a volunteer scheme where volunteers support an adult with a learning disability on a one-to-one basis either weekly or fortnightly. We run a social club in Thornbury which meets on a Friday from 7-9pm.
Provide employment for people leaving prison to reduce re-offending and contribute to the community
The Little Co-op is a second hand bookshop which also sells tea, coffee, DVDs, CDs and vinyl. We also sell organic food and eco friendly cleaning products. We are not for profit and receive no wages. We are still working on our mission statement and are hoping to become an official co op in the near future. All decisions are made collectively.

We visit schools and youth groups giving presentations about life in prison. We go to pursuade them they have choices and the wrong choice can result in a criminal record
