Re:work is a registered charity situated in an area of multiple deprivation classified as the worst 10% in the country. Since 1999, when it was established by a small group of local people, the charity has supported young offenders or young people aged 12-18 who are excluded from school. We raise affordable funds for social enterprises
Research, advice and promotion of resource efficiency, especially waste and recycling issues. We work with local councils to provide residents with advice on recycling and in schools. We work with businesses providing environmental audits, waste reduction advice and support in developing and maintaining environmental management systems.
RESULTS is a movement of passionate, committed, everyday people. Together we use our voices to influence political decisions that will bring an end to poverty.
Our campaigners receive training, support, and inspiration to become skilled advocates. In time, they learn to effectively advise policy makers, guiding them towards decisions that improve access to education, health, and economic opportunity.
