GILL delivers the 'a SALT course' (Spiritual Activists Leadership Training). Girlguiding Bristol South Gloucester provides girls from age 5 up with the opportunity to pursue new challenges, make new friends and discover new skills and abilities they didn't know they had, by encouraging decision making and team work. All our weekly sessions for girls are run by local volunteers. Volunteers also handle our recruitment and the set up of new units and therefore new places for more girls.
Glenside Hospital Museum houses collections relating to the history of Bristol Psychiatric and Learning Disability Hospitals.
The Museum, set within the grounds of the building which opened in 1861 as The Bristol Lunatic Asylum, tells the 130 year story of a psychiatric hospital. Setting up an interactive Education Centre on the SDGs in Bristol
Prevents international custody and residence disputes by raising awareness and supporting 'stuck' parents. (parents who are unable to return to their home country with their children after a relationship breakdown)
Channel the power of cricket as a tool for change, social cohesion and making a difference to the lives of people in deprived areas. Cricket can also provide the catalyst to engage disadvantaged young people and allowed them to gain crucial life skills such as respect, teamwork and self-confidence.
Established in 2003 our vision is to help everyone realise their potential through experience in the natrual environment, We are responsible for the Grade II listed Victorian school, residential Lodge set in 8 acres of grassland and 130 acres of woodland of which 80 acres is designated a 'Site of Special Scientific Interest'.<br>
