Off the Record aim to improve the emotional, physical and mental well-being, and self esteem of young people aged up to 25 who live, study or work in Bath and North East Somerset. We are an informal, friendly service offering information, support, advice and counselling for young people.
We provide free counselling and emotional support to young people aged 11-25. Our main base is in central Bristol, close to all major bus routes. We also offer outreach counselling at Barton-Hill, Withywood, Lockleaze, Southmeade, Fishponds and Knowle West and all City of Bristol College Campuses. OpenUp Music empowers young disabled musicians to build inclusive youth orchestras. We work with these young people to develop accessible musical instruments and repertoire, challenge expectations and raise aspirations. Together we are opening up a clear musical progression route through the creation of great music.
Opening Doors is a part of the Bristol Gloucester Somerset and Wiltshire Commuity Rehabilitation Company. We offer volunteer mentoring services to anyone aged 18+ going through the criminal justice system.

We teach arts and crafts courses including woodwork,woodturning, stained glass, silversmithing and jewellery making, pottery, mosaics, drawing and painting, watercolours, pewterwork and enamelling. We run courses from our workshops but will also come out to groups. Classes are available days, evening and weekends and are open to all ages 7-70+! Some courses are women or girl only or specifically for students with learning difficulties
We offer a drop-in to any adult who may have or did suffer with any form of mental health we do our best to offer therapies, activities, and days out, all subject to funding. There are members who are willing to help anyone who whishes to discuss to discuss their their interest. We offer a chance for a change to get out of the house. This is a confidential group, we are friendly we support each other and are all volunteers.

The Park Bench is a charitable voluntary organisation which aims to provide access to a lending library service for people in Bristol who have difficulty registering with the Public Library, usually because they are homeless or insecurely housed. We run a weekly library session at the Wild Goose Cafe and another at Logos House (Salvation Army) and replenish a number of other bookshelves.

We give help and support to homeless, put them in contact with the right group to help them find accomodation, help them to settle into accomodation and sort out furnishing by applying to charities, which can offer help. We have support workers on hand for help and advise on benefit entitlement, housing benefit and any grant the client may be entitled to. Support is also given on personal issues that may be causing trouble and stress.
