We are a church that serves it's local community by providing a meeting place for people to meet for social, arts, health and wellbeing, social cohesion activities throughout the week.
TOP UK runs a network of self-help groups to help sufferers of phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and other related anxiety to overcome their fears. We use a type of behaviour therapy developed by Prof. Isaac Marks to help sufferers face their fears in gentle, structured steps.

BUILDINGS ARE LET OUT TO MARITIME BUSINESSES TO KEEP THOSE SKILLS ALIVE IN BRISTOL, AND TO ENCOURAGE SMALL AND START UP ENTERPRISES. ALL OF OUR SURPLUS FUNDS ARE USED TO MAINTAIN THE BUILDINGS.

We have various departments at UBU which run services and activities for students - advice, representation, democracy, sports, student development, societies and students can get involved in volunteering and fundraising for the local community. We have a Board of Trustees and run training and development for all our staff and students. We have projects which provide students with the opportunity to get involved in their local communities.
We organise three ten-week terms of activities - discussions, slide shows, talks, conversational French, poetry appreciation, music, drama, and anything in fact that will generate talking, and also in the summer, walking - both activities sadly neglected in modern society.
