Supporting Voluntary and Community Action
We are a small group of dancers, singers and percussionists. We believe in the power of music and song to lift the spirits and in the undoubted physical and social benefits of dance.
To this end we take live percussion instruments, including Samba and African drums into care homes and day centres, sheltered housing. Working with older peoples groups, people with learning diffficulties and people with Alzheimers Disease.

We support child and young people with additional needs to access therapy leisure and learning activities in nature and with the support of horses
Serenity House delivers the Recovery Dynamics program, a non-medical 12 Step treatment for alcoholism and other addictions
The program runs for 12 weeks, Monday to Friday, Monday 1.00-5.00pm, 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. Lunch is provided.
We are an addiction treatment resource for the City recognised by NHS Bristol.
Primarily we are a place of worship however we operate a number of community projects for sections of the community, such as: Tuition, Youth Projects, Play Activity Schemes and a community feeding programme.
Severn Four Credit Union is a not for profit community organisation, offering an easy way to save and borrow money. It is an ethical and local financial service provider that is owned and managed by its members. It tackles financial exclusion through providing low-cost loans and an easy way to save (qualifying members received a 3% dividend in 2005). SGYH is a housing project based in Kingswood South Gloucestershire near Bristol. We provide services for young homeless people including accommodation and support for young people with mental health problems as well as other projects.
Our key services are:

We provide Libraries of Things, located on Kingswood High Street and soon East St in Bedminster as well.
We enable people to borrow the things they need rather than buying or going without, helping them to live life to the fullest - whether that be borrowing gear for a camping trip, gardening equipment, extra glasses for a party, things to entertain the kids with or kitchen tools.
