What is this course about?

Having an effective funding and income strategy is always vital, but never more so as we try to navigate through the uncertainties and problems of the current situation. This 2-part course, (part 1 - 10am - midday, part 2 - 2pm - 4pm) will provide a grounding in how to develop a good basic strategy, then moves on to look at what a resilient strategy needs to contain for your organisation to meet the challenges of the COVID-19 emergency.

The course will cover; using your strategy to aid resilience, strategic issues for charity and social-enterprise income during the emergence, understanding and developing strategies for sustainability, and building a good funding strategy.

  • Current issues effecting your strategy
  • What other organisations are doing to help them survive and thrive in the current emergency

Who is the course for?

Senior Staff, Trustees and Directors with responsibility for income-generation and funding strategy

What else do you need to know?

Participants need to have a good understanding of their organisations current financial position and income sources.

To take part you will need a laptop with a camera, microphone, and Wi-Fi. You will not require any additional software. You will be emailed an invitation with a link to join the online training prior to the course.

This course is now free of charge as Voscur are currently offering free courses to support the VCSE sector during this challenging time.

Voscur cancellation policy:
If you cancel your place on a training course you will need to give at least 2 weeks' notice. Less than 2 weeks' notice will result in the full cost of the course being invoiced.
