Have your say on Bristol’s new Rough Sleeping Strategy

20 January, 2020

Earlier this year Bristol City Council consulted on its Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy for 2019-2024. It is currently recommissioning Rough Sleeping Services, with a view to new contracts being in place at the start of October 2020.

The council has a number of proposals for remodelling the way it will offer out contracts to its providers and make some changes to the services provided. The council hopes that these will have a positive impact on the way services are delivered to those who need it and will ultimately reduce rough sleeping in the city.

A range of stakeholders, including providers, clients, voluntary sectors partners and the community are being invited to comment on the proposals. The council is also seeking comments and ideas from as wide a range of people as possible, to make sure the services provided will have the best possible lasting impact for service users.
