Have your say on the future of Bristol’s vision rehabilitation service

23 September, 2019

Bristol City Council is seeking feedback from people who have experience of the vision rehabilitation service in Bristol, currently operated by the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).

It is keen to hear from people who have used or been offered the service, their carers/families, and anyone else with an interest in or knowledge about the service.

The feedback and ideas received from the survey will be used to inform the future development of the service.

The survey runs until 9 October 2019: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/WPBIU

What does the vision rehabilitation service offer?

The vision rehabilitation service is a free service that offers help and support to people who become blind or partially-sighted to enable them to continue to live independently. This can include support to learn how to do household tasks safely and get around outside using a cane or other mobility aids.

Accessibility

The survey is an online questionnaire which is compatible with screen readers and may be completed on desktop computers, tablets and mobile phones. The font size may be increased using the zoom functions on the web browser.

If you require the survey in a different format, or wish to complete it over the phone, please call 0117 922 4656 or email victoria.hayes@bristol.gov.uk
