Details of Role: 

The role:

This key role supports BDP’s thriving Treatment Team, who work alongside 42 GP Practices to provide Opioid Substitution Therapy to people who have an opioid dependency.

You will be answering calls from professionals and service users, making calls to service users to arrange appointments, inputting data into our various recording systems and sharing data with the team.

This role would suit someone who can communicate effectively with a broad range of people from service users to GPs, has well-honed IT skills and has the ability to stay well organised in a fast paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arranging and managing appointments with service users.
  • Fielding queries from service users, staff and GPs.
  • Inputting data into our recording systems.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong communication skills, demonstrating flexibility, persistence and imagination in engaging with service users.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with other organisations, including GPs and other health professionals.
  • Strong personal organisation and attention to detail.
