Bristol Community Land Trust (BCLT) was established in 2011 with the mission to give the power of land ownership back to the community. We are registered as a Community Benefit Society and as a Registered Provider of Social Housing.

Since 2011, we have established two community-led housing projects, totaling 62 affordable homes. Our vision for the future is to build thriving and inclusive communities through the democratic ownership and stewardship of land.

BCLT is at an exciting time in its development – we have big ambitions for 2024 and beyond as the need to secure community assets and provide affordable housing is increasingly urgent.
