Are you as passionate about supporting people whose lives are affected by alcohol or other drugs as we are?

Now in our 37th year, BDP is an expert, energetic charity working with more than 3,500 people a year in a vibrant city with an increasingly diverse population.

We are working in partnership with Bristol City Council as part of Bristol’s early help for families, Families in Focus, providing specialist support for parents using alcohol and other drugs.

Based across the East Central, North and South Families in Focus Teams, you will be part of a team of family workers and other specialist staff. As part of this integrated approach, you will identify, engage and support parents; be a resource for colleagues and partners; provide training and day-to-day consultancy; and support parents into drug and alcohol treatment services. If you are passionate about working with people affected by alcohol and other drugs, have a passion for supporting families, have excellent organisational skills and are able to work well in a partnership setting, this is for you!
