Unseen is working towards a world without slavery. We provide safehouses and support in the community for survivors of trafficking and modern slavery. We also run the Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline and work with individuals, communities, businesses, governments, other charities, and statutory agencies to stamp out slavery for good.
Purpose of the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Unseen’s Operations team in a junior role. This role will work with colleagues across the organisation and will be key in delivering Unseen’s recruitment function, as well as supporting with cross-organisation initiatives including learning and development, employee experience and providing operational support.
Responsibilities will primarily consist of:
1. Working with the Operations team to provide operational support across the organisation.
2. Leading on recruitment administration including enquiries, advertising, interview and selection
processes.
3. Facilitating onboarding for new starters and providing an excellent employee experience.
4. Maintaining Unseen’s learning management system and supporting with training requirements.
We are looking for a proactive, adaptable, and detail oriented individual, with exceptional organisation skills to take on this diverse role. Excellent written communication skills, and an ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders will be essential for this role. Specific experience of recruitment administration, is particularly desirable. You will need to demonstrate your ability
to fulfil the criteria from the person specification included in this job pack.
This role is based at Unseen’s head office in central Bristol and while some working from home days will be allowed, a significant part of the role will require you to be in the office for face to face tasks (including meeting candidates to facilitate interviews and meeting new starters on their first day to support onboarding).
