Resilience Grants to support organisational development

The aim of this Resilience Grant Programme is to support local organisations with charitable aims to be better equipped to survive and thrive through challenges and opportunities.

This programme is not designed to support the direct delivery of services and activities. Instead, it is to support organisations to develop their ways of working and strengthen their resilience.

Who can apply

Applicants must be based and working in Bristol, Bath & North-East Somerset, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire (collectively referred to as the ‘West of England’). The primary function and service must be supporting people experiencing economic disadvantage, with priority given to those working with any the following communities living in the West of England:

  • People from Black, Asian and minoritised communities
  • Disabled people (and people with long-term health conditions)
  • Older People
  • People experiencing or at risk of homelessness
  • Refugees and asylum seekers
  • Carers
  • Women
  • People who identify as LGBTQIA

In addition, you must be one of the following:

  • constituted voluntary or community organisation
  • registered charity
  • not-for-profit company, including Community Interest Companies where they are not limited by shares and most directors receive no payment from the company
