Not-for-profit groups led by and for Black people and people of colour with lived experience of mental illness, distress, or trauma can apply for grants of up to £5,000 through the Synergi Small Grants Fund Round 2: Democratising Policy. The Fund will support collective care, campaigning, and capacity-building activities across England to promote mental health and racial justice. The funding could be used for campaigning (including protest work), piloting new ideas, organisational development, and costs to deliver support and activities. 50% of the funding will be ringfenced for groups led by communities who are racialised as Black. Groups must have a yearly income of under £50,000 to be eligible to apply. The deadline for applications is 5pm on the 30th May 2024.
