This exciting fast paced role is an opportunity to be part of an innovative service providing holistic, trauma-informed support for women . You will be need to be able to build relationships and work intensively with woman who face multiple disadvantage who are in the Criminal Justice system as a result of their substance misuse.

The aim of this role involves supporting woman to return from East Wood Park Prison back to Bristol to ensure continuity of care. You will work in collaboration to empower women to access services and opportunities to prevent returning to the Criminal Justice System.

The post holder will work from the Bristol Women’s Centre, supporting women both within the community, as well with women in HMP Eastwood Park. The ideal candidate will have experience of engaging with woman and building trusting relationships to ensure a planned transition from custody to community.

It will be a key part of you role to be independent, dynamic and creative in your approach to joint work with other agencies to ensure a woman has a strong wrap-around support, primarily to access and sustain engagement in substance misuse treatment.
