Are you passionate about women’s equity in Bristol? Do you have experience in events organising?

Bristol Women’s Voice are recruiting for a part-time Communities and Connections Coordinator to join our dedicated team. We particularly encourage women from Black and minoritised and working-class backgrounds to apply. We offer very flexible working conditions and some carer allowance.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week. 0.6 FTE Can be worked flexibly across the week. Some out-of-hours work will be required, e.g. evenings, the occasional Saturday, e.g. for strategic planning and International Women’s Day.

Salary: £27,000 pa pro rata.

Length of contract: until 31 July 2025, with extension subject to continuation funding.

Holiday: 22 days (pro rata) plus bank holidays, plus one discretionary wellbeing day for your birthday.

Key objectives of the role:

  • To lead on delivering BWV Members’ events, developing a programme of cross-cultural, intergenerational, awareness raising events.
  • To lead on the operational delivery of Bristol Women’s Voice’s annual International Women’s Day Event in City Hall.
  • To support the delivery of BWV events and activities to engage communities in Bristol Women’s Voice’s campaigning and other work, as appropriate.
