The role:

As an IT Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of IT projects from conception to completion, including planning, scheduling, risk management and communication. You will ensure projects are delivered on time and you will lead a team to drive technological change whilst maximising value for money and enhancing customer experience.

This is a fully hybrid role but there are expectations to attend the office when required. It is envisaged this will be 2-3 days per week.

Although not an exhaustive list, key responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership across various IT and Data projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion to the agreed quality standards.
  • Effectively analyse technical change requests considering both the technological and people related impact of change.
  • Provide financial management of all related project expenditure, hardware, software, capital and resource costs.
  • Support the senior leadership team to deliver agreed business objectives and strategic plans.
  • Lead and engage your team and the wider association, ensuring colleagues are supported and trained to deliver their business and personal objectives.

For this role we are looking for individuals who have:

  • Experience of successfully leading complex change initiatives from issue identification through to implementation.
  • Experience of or demonstrable aptitude for leading and managing diverse project teams.
  • Significant experience of building effective working relationships with stakeholders and influencing across the business and with partners.
  • High levels of IT literacy and actively champion the optimisation of IT and other new technology.
  • Open to being challenged and be positively challenging.
  • Is a competent and effective communicator with strong presentation skills.
  • Desire to understand all areas of the business as a whole and make decisions for the benefit of the business even if it impacts own team.
