The Maternity and Neonatal Voice Partnership (MNVP) is a way of amplifying the voice of service users and giving them a platform for influence and codesign. The job is offered for a fixed term - however the funding of MNVPs is an NHS England requirement and we expect an extension of this role beyond April 2026.

We are looking to expand our team and appoint a Project Officer who will work closely with the Acute Trusts; North Bristol and University Hospitals Bristol and Weston. Your role is to represent mothers, parents and families across Bristol, North Somerset and South Glos. This includes African, Caribbean, Asian and other minoritised communities in Bristol, and people who have poorer consequences because of their experiences, the quality of, or their access to maternity, health visiting, and other related services.

You will consolidate themes and insights from people who use maternity services into relevant workstreams, and you will work in a team to facilitate projects that are part of an annual workplan. Your role includes being a source of information for communities, communicating opportunities for them to get involved and helping them to do so. Please see the attached Job Description & Person Spec for all the role objectives. Maternity service experience within the last 3 years is essential.
