The Maternity and Neonatal Voice Partnership (MNVP) is a way of bringing the voice of users of local services into a place of influence and codesign. The job is offered for a fixed term - however the funding of MNVPs is an NHS England requirement and an extension of this role beyond April 2026 is extremely likely.
We are looking to expand our team and appoint a Community Engagement Officer who will develop networks, reaching out to people with protected characteristics. This includes African, Caribbean, Asian and other minoritised communities in Bristol, and people who have poorer consequences because of their experiences, the quality of, or their access to maternity, health visiting, and other related services.

You will be a people person managing outreach activity, building relationships, and collating public insights to deliver a workplan. Please see the Job Description & Person Spec for all the role objectives. Experience of maternity services within the last 3 years is essential.
