Do you have the skills to plan an event or organise activities? a cake sale? A car wash that our volunteers can get involved in etc.  There are so many ways you can fundraise and each one will support the sustainability of DET Entertainment and we would love to hear and see your ideas.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic volunteer to get involved to support us by creating and planning events that we can do across the year to raise funds to sustain the work we do and continue supporting the underserved communities within Bristol.

What volunteering offers

Giving back to the community is one of the greatest feelings you can get, putting a smile on someone’s face, watching people get together to learn from one another and become friends it’s an amazing feeling.  It’s a great way to meet up with other volunteers.

Use your already built skills or build new ones

Volunteering is a great way to introduce yourself back into work if you’ve been out of touch for a while, it’s just as beneficial if you’ve never been in work before and would like to take a small step towards being work ready!

If you are building a CV, yes you can add your volunteering work towards your CV…it’ll look great!

Time commitment:

Do you have from 60 minutes to - 3 hours a week to spare? Great!

When would we need you? We are very flexible in the time of day to suit your availability

Skills needed

You don’t really have to have experience in fundraising (though skills would definitely be welcomed) you just need the heart and commitment to support with an attitude of determination to complete your projects.  If you have the skills to make adverts great, but if not we can support you.  You’ll need to be able to research to be able to plan the fundraising activities i.e places that we would hold the fundraising activity etc
