Milestones Trust is a health and social care charity supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex behavioural needs. The Trust provides residential, nursing and supported living services to around 500 people living in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and North Somerset areas.

We are looking for volunteers to help with driving the people we support to social activities and appointments. This is a great opportunity to help the people that Milestones support to be more independent and to get out and about in the community.

Can you help?

For this role a full UK driving licence is required. We have our own vehicles that can be used, or if you prefer to use your own vehicle this can be arranged.

The role would vary in terms of days, times and frequency, but it will most likely be a few hours weekly or fortnightly. We will match volunteers to the homes closest to them, so please let us know where you are based when applying for this role.

For all of our volunteer roles a DBS check will be carried out and two references will be taken up. All volunteers can attend a volunteer induction and will be supported by both the volunteer team and a member of staff in the service too.
