We are a non-profit cookery school where we use food as a vehicle to combat isolation, promote nutrition and support in strengthening communities.
We run cookery classes, events and outreach programmes as well as many other food based activities. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who lives in and/or knows the area around our kitchen (Easton, Redfield, Lawrence Hill, St Pauls, St Werburghs, St Georges). We are looking for someone who has been involved in different community settings and organisations in our area, someone who loves our area of Bristol, knows people in our community and cares about what we do here at the kitchen and how it affects our neighbours. We want someone who has a good strategic mind to think about how we can collaborate more with others in our neighbourhood, as well as offer honest feedback on how we can continue to improve the kitchen. 

We are looking for someone to:

- Help us connect with more people and projects in the area

- Be open, honest and creative with ideas of what we can do

- Support us in maintaining our core purpose whilst being legally and financially responsible 

- Be an ambassador for our project 

- Be comfortable speaking English in a small group setting with other Directors, to share feedback and ideas. No need for fluency. Please ask us if you are unsure :)
