We are looking for a talented Dementia Activity Support Worker, to work 3 days a week in our Dementia Meeting Centres running in North Somerset and Bristol. Our Meeting Centres provide a haven for people living with dementia and their carers, bringing true relationship-based care. Our groups run between 10am and 3pm, and offer a day of activity, friendship and support for both the person who is living with dementia and those who are caring for them. No two sessions are the same; from playing dominoes and pool one day, to reminiscence and music the next; all activity is lead by our members.  

You will run group activities and support both individuals living with dementia and their carers as part of a small team in friendly local settings. You will be working in Portishead, Nailsea and Bristol so will need to be able to travel independently.  

Experienced at running groups and working with older people and people living with dementia, you will have good people skills and a positive outlook, be organised and have a creative flair. But mostly you will be passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred dementia care and support.
