Improving Homes is an initiative in partnership with South Gloucestershire Council which helps to support homeowner who's homes and gardens have fallen into disrepair. 

Volunteers will help with practical tasks such as garden clearance, so this is a very hands-on role and will suit anyone willing to 'muck in' to see dramatic results and make huge improvements to peoples lives. 

What you will get out of it:

You will be making a real difference in the lives of older people.

You will join an enthusiastic team of Age UK South Gloucestershire staff and volunteers.

You will be helping improve the health of older people, which has a positive impact on the wider community

The hours are flexible around your existing commitments - no experience is necessary as we will provide induction, training and ongoing support. All volunteers require a DBS check and references.
