Small, local organisations needing funding for projects that help communities come together have until 7th July 2019 to apply for a grant. The Local Community Fund supports projects that make a difference to local communities near to Co-op stores and funeral homes. The funding is available to not for profit organisations and priority will be given to projects run by small, local organisations. The size of grants awarded depends on the amount available in the local community. Projects supported have included OnTrak bicycle recycling, Bradford, a project that gives local youths and school leavers the chance to learn practical engineering skills.
