Introduction

This online session will help you understand the impact of digital activities on the climate and ecological crisis, giving you the knowledge and tools to measure and reduce your digital based emissions

 

This session will shed a light on the contribution of digital activities to emissions within your organisation and the contribution of digital based emissions to the climate crisis, giving you the knowledge and tools to measure and reduce your digital based emissions. The session with include:

  • Background – what are digital based emissions and why are they important
  • Which of your digital activities are likely to causing the largest environmental impact
  • Tips and tools for measuring your digital based emissions
  • Best practice for reducing digital based emissions across eCommerce, websites, email, servers and cloud storage
  • Best practice and tips for selecting sustainable digital services

 

Who is it for?

This workshop is open to eligible SMEs on the Workforce for the Future programme. To be eligible for support, you must have a business presence in the West of England (Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset) and be a small or medium sized enterprise (SME).
