The Children's Scrapstore Community Reuse Fair will be a place to share ideas, learn new skills and gather confidence to incorporate reuse into the way that we live, shop, build, furnish our homes and make art! Children's Scrapstore is a charity that is dedicated to stopping waste go to landfill by reusing scrap materials for art and play with children and adults.

There will be stalls with reuse organisations and charities, reuse art, workshops and activities for children, and clothes, books, and toy swaps – everything will be focused on reuse. Some highlights include a puppet show and mask making workshop, drumming and song making, scrap costume making, a book binding workshop, and so much more!

The stalls will be outside in the car park which will be shut for the day, and other workshops will be taking place inside the Scrapstore and in the play room, with our usual members only Scrapstore being opened to the public for the day! With the help of our volunteers, fabulous partners, and donations from our community, we are able to keep this event almost completely free, so thank you to everyone involved.

So come along, have fun, and leave with a basket of scrap and a wealth of knowledge! We can't wait to see you there!
