Supporting Voluntary and Community Action
We are an inner city youth project working in a full time capacity with hard to reach and disaffected young people. The day work is mainly targeted work, which includes:
-Riverside Youth Project in Education (with education and SSD) to re-engage youngsters by using sport as a platform.
-The Boys Club works at night as a major activity base for young people.
The Rock Community Centre is a centre based in Lawrence Weston providing a facility for people who live in or around the estate. Specific reference is given to the elderly and disabled of all ages.
Our organisation provides accomodation and support, completley free of charge, to families of critically ill children that are staying in the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. We are an independent charity that relies solely on fundraising and donations from the public.
RGSL is the home of Bristol West Indian Cricket Club. We provide sports facilities and function rooms to the local community. Our main area of business include being a base for Bristol West Indian Cricket Club who run several community cricket teams for both youth and adults.
