Phoenix Social Enterprise are a social enterprise with a clear business purpose – to help individuals, communities and economies progress and grow. Phoenix Social Enterprise offer overseas volunteering, Capacity Building, Conference facilities and affordable hotdesking, and employment support. We also offer B1 English courses, Life in the UK courses and Employability Skills Training.
We support residents to open their streets for play on a regular basis using the council's 'Temporary Play Street Order' and are growing a grassroots movement for street play across Bristol
The Plus Importance Project improves understanding and inclusivity of people in the + of LGBT+, defined as sexualities, gender identities and sex characteristics including, but not limited to, asexual, genderfluid, genderqueer, intersex, non-binary, pansexual and queer.
We provide training and support to organisations, educate the public and conduct research on identities in the +.
Support parents with children with additional needs we meet up every friday I help fill forms, apply for schools,appeals, I do this on my own voluntary from Barton Hill, the parents that come to the group 99% are from the somalian community that are very isolated and have no support from local authority or family, I help on a daily basis if needed which I usually am even if its just for advice.
