Legs4aAfrica collects prosthetic legs and mobility equipment from hospitals around the Uk which would otherwise go to landfill. A partnership project between Ashton Park School, the Bristol Buildings Preservation Trust and Bristol City Council to restore the derelict Lower Lodge to Ashton Court Estate and to provide a gateway to discovering the past through various interpretation at the Lodge and a virtual gateway via a website. The project focuses on the South Bristol Community primarily.
LIMP is a voluntary community group made up of local residents; it aims to re-energise, care for and improve the green space that is known as Luckwell park.
