TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF DISABLED CHILDREN AND CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS (SEN) AND THEIR PARENTS, CARERS AND SIBLINGS (THE ‘BENEFICIARIES’) IN THE BRISTOL AREA BY THE PROVISION OF, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY: (A) FREE ACTIVITY SESSIONS FOR THE BENEFICIARIES IN THE COMMUNITY. (B) SIGNPOSTING THE PARENTS, CARERS AND SIBLINGS TO ORGANISATIONS THAT CAN GIVE SUPPORT AND INFORMATION

Families in Touch aims to provide support and short respite breaks to families with disabled children and young adults. We provide playschemes to enable parents/carers respite as well as offering coffe mornings for parents/carers and social outings - e.g. day trips, pantomime, etc. for the whole family.

FFA is a charity which aims to promote community engagement, awareness and relief of food poverty in Bristol, through local networking and the collection of food and other vital supplies for distribution to community partners working with families and children in poverty and in need.
We fight food poverty by tackling food waste. We save perfectly good surplus food destined for waste and redistribute it to local Charities and community groups who transform it into nutritious meals for vulnerable people. We actively promote our key message to the food industry and general public – ‘No good food should be wasted’. Felix Road Adventure Playground provides children between the age of five and sixteen with the opportunity to play in a safe environment. The playground is free and open to all. We believe that it is vital for all children to have the opportunity to play in order to develop skills and knowledge that enable them to learn about themselves and the world.
