The second Bristol Impact Fund is now open for applications from voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations working to reduce inequalities in the city and helping the most disadvantaged residents.

This funding, from Bristol City Council, is designed ‘to build city resilience by growing the power of communities experiencing the greatest inequality’. It will go to VCSE organisations that support and empower equalities groups, neighbourhoods, communities and people, including those in the most 20% deprived areas of the city.

You can read an overview of the Bristol Impact Fund here.

  • There are 12 baseline standards to meet for any funding from Bristol City Council, which will be explained in more detail through guidance sessions from Bristol City Council and support sessions from Voscur; our short video also gives you an introduction to the funding and the baseline standards.
  • Voscur has a support programme of free events to help you prepare your organisation's application, including training courses, briefings, peer learning workshops and one-to-one surgeries, which will run throughout March and April 2021.
  • Bristol City Council also has overview sessions and a series of Asset-Based Community Development sessions available to book now - see our Bristol Impact Fund webpage for details.

Medium, large and collaboration grants are currently available; a small grants programme will be launched in 2022. Medium grants will be between £10,001-49,999 and large grants will be between £50,000-200,000. The average grant amount will be £50,000.

Applications close at 12pm (midday) on Monday 17 May 2021. For more details, click here
