The Express Grants Programme from Quartet Community Foundation will temporarily close at the end of July 2019 and reopen in September 2019, allowing the funders to assess this service.

Quartet wants to ensure that small, local non-profits and community groups receive efficient support to continue and expand their work. Grants of £500-5,000 can be transformative for these small organisations, helping them to address local people's needs.

Changes may include a series of eight application rounds throughout the year, and some internal adjustment to improve efficiency. Once these changes are confirmed, they will be publicised on the Quartet website before the programme reopens in September.

  • The Express Grants Programme has a 6-8 week turnaround from application submissions to applicants being told whether or not their funding bid has been accepted.
  • Applications made by 11am on Wednesday 31 July 2019 will find out the result of their bid in the usual timeframe; after this, the programme will be closed until Monday 2 September 2019, and application decisions will be announced within 6-8 weeks.
  • Any applications sent between 11:01am on Wednesday 31 July and Monday 2 September 2019 will not be looked at until the programme reopens.

Funders are particularly interested in projects that deal with early intervention or preventative work, and related activities. Your group or organisation must be based in Bristol, Bath and North-East Somerset, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire.
