The Bristol Impact Fund small grants programme will soon launch its second round of funding, for projects that reduce the city’s inequalities. Grants will last two years, and will be awarded by Bristol City Council, up to the value of £20,000 (to be confirmed).

Voscur will provide pre-application support, including sessions in community spaces, bookable support surgery slots for one-to-one advice, and a range of online tools to help complete your application.

Grants will be awarded to projects that focus on one or more of the following issues:

  • Reducing financial, food and fuel poverty.
  • Improving access to information, services and opportunities in the city; increasing digital inclusion.
  • Enabling influence and participation in the community.
  • Tackling unemployment and underemployment.
  • Reducing social isolation and improving mental health and wellbeing.

Projects should support Bristolians by:

  • Giving the right help at the right time.
  • Helping people to help themselves and each other.
  • Building on the strengths of people and communities.
  • Connecting people and organisations within and across communities.

Bristol City Council is particularly interested in applications from Filwood, Hartcliffe and Withywood, as these neighbourhoods were underrepresented in the first round of small grants. However, VCSE organisations from all areas of Bristol are welcome to apply.

Expressions of interest are due on Friday 26 July 2019, and a full timetable of support services and application deadlines will be confirmed soon by Voscur and Bristol City Council.
