The Community Benefit Programme, from Thrive Renewables and the Centre for Sustainable Energy, is open to funding applications of up to £4,000 from community buildings in parts of BS11, to help improve energy efficiency. Grants could be used to install LED lighting, add insulation or draught-proofing measures, improve heating controls, use renewable energy sources, or pay for expert advice on the best ways to save energy in your building.

The funds can also be combined with other grants or funding sources to put towards more expensive energy-saving projects.

Eligible buildings must be close enough to the Avonmouth Thrive Renewables site to have one of the following postcodes: BS11 0, BS11 8, BS11 9. You will also need to complete an energy audit as part of your application.

For full details and to apply, click here. Funding deadlines are ongoing.
