Whether you have used social media just on a personal level or never before, an introduction to social media can just help to gently ease you into a new way of thinking.  No matter what our perception of the world of Facebook, Twitter etc., as voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector organisations we ignore it at our peril. This course is a good starting point for those working within an organisation that needs to move its marketing into the digital age.

The course addresses what social media is and how organisations can use it.

  • Learn what social media is and how businesses are using it
  • Learn about blogging as an effective tool
  • Learn how to use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest, and Instagram in your social media plan.

Staff or volunteers who want to refresh the marketing of their organisation using social media more effectively
